Discussion of a master's thesis in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics - Department of Mathematics entitled:
Development of some associated vectors to solve unconstrained optimization problems with applications in neural networks.

A master's thesis was discussed in the discussion hall of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Monday 19-9-2022, by the student Ali Hadi Hassan Ali, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khalil Khader Abbo.
The thesis discussed the discussion and development of some hybrid algorithms. In the second chapter, the HS algorithm and the DY algorithm were used, as the DY algorithm has strong global convergence properties, while the HS algorithm has good computational results by taking advantage of the properties of DY and HS.

The study touched on the proposal of the KA1 hybrid algorithm, and the regression and absolute convergence property of this algorithm were proven. Also, the KA2 hybrid algorithm was proposed between the FR algorithm which has comprehensive convergence properties and the PR algorithm which has good computational properties.
The study aims to obtain algorithms that have the ability to solve non-linear optimization problems of large scale and give us good results when solving these problems.
