Discussion of a master's thesis in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics - Department of Mathematics Sciences entitled:

 "Some Hybrid Conjugate Gradient Methods for Solving Unconstraint Optimization  "

 It was discussed in the discussion room at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Monday 28-11-2022

Master's thesis by student Naba Mohammed Rashid Hasan Al-Hadidi, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Khalil Khader Abbo .

In first chapter we studied some basic definitions of optimization, and in the second chapter, we developed the KN1 algorithm to solve the nonlinear non-constrained optimization functions based on the FR and HS algorithm Encouraging comparison to FR and HS algorithms. As for the third chapter, we suggestan the KN2 algorithm depending on the FR and DL algorithm, and the numerical results were compared with the FR and DL algorithms. So the advanced algorithms were highly efficient in solving non-linear optimization functions, the regression and global convergence properties of the two proposed algorithms have been proven under some hypotheses.
