University of Mosul, in cooperation with Arbil Technical University, and the Dutch SPARK foundation, held the first joint international conference on Coronavirus pandemic online on November 11-12, 2020.

The event, which is titled (Coronavirus Pandemic: the Present and the Future), was under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nabil Abdulsahib, Minister of Iraqi Higher Education and Scientific Research and Prof. Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of KRG Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under supervision of Rector Kossay Alahmady, Assistant Prof. Dr. Kawa Abdulkarim Rasool, Rector of Arbil Technical University, and Director of SPARK foundation.

The conference aimed at highlighting the latest on the pandemic on the social, political and economical levels, in addition to the reality of the e-learning and how to improve it.

Noteworthy is that the conference had five pivots: Medical Sciences, Technology and e-learning, local and international economies, agricultural and veterinary sciences, and the political, social and humanity sciences.
